The honours were presented in a Celebration Awards Ceremony on May 25, 2012, and a Gala Awards Ceremony a on May 26, both at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Our members walked away with several musical honours.

The Celebration Awards Ceremony was hosted by Gary Jones (of Stargate) and it was a very light-hearted and funny affair. The gala was hosted by Amanda Tapping and Robin Dunne (both of Sanctuary) Guests were treated to music from the Vince Mai Project in performances throughout the evening, and there was lots of dancing onstage.

The LEO Awards offer an excellent opportunity for SOCAN members who work in film and television to celebrate their accomplishments and network with producers, directors and local industry players. Other SOCAN members in attendance included Hal Foxton Beckett, Dennis Burke, Kevin Hamilton, Matthew Rogers and Ari Wise. SOCAN staff in attendance were Michelle Dubuc, Pat Mueller and Sara Pavilionis. For more information and a complete list of winners visit the awards website.
